Rene Markarian
Words and puzzles have always been a passion of mine. When I learn a new word, find the right spelling or decipher what a witness mumbles it is extremely gratifying. Becoming a certified stenographer was a natural path for me to follow. I have been a California certified stenographer for 30-plus years. Over the course of my career I have been exposed to many types of litigation. I have a special interest in medical malpractice and employment litigation. I have primarily stayed in the deposition lane, but recently stepped into the court arena where my client won a $34 million award. It was a fabulous experience.
Growing up in west county, I always knew I would return here to raise my family. I have been a resident of Sonoma County for 40-plus years and enjoy all the beauty it has to offer.
Kelly Lopez
I have been a local reporter for over 30-plus years. I pride myself on providing accurate transcripts and reliable services to clients. Over the years, I have reported high-profile cases in depositions and in the courtroom. I have experience reporting large construction defect cases, medical/technical and wine industry-related cases. I stay current on industry standards and stay up-to-date on all technological advancements in the industry. Having resided in Sonoma County for all of my adult life, I enjoy the small-town feel and relationships I have built with clients over the years. I maintain memberships in local and statewide associations, including the Sonoma County Bar Association and the DRA.
